The Greenways of Governor’s Club
It’s time to get outside and hit the greenways near the Inn at Governor’s Club for some rest and relaxation (or some walking and talking) spent among nature’s most verdant byways. Named a Bicycle Friendly Community by the League of American Bicyclists in 2010, Chapel Hill is home to a network of 12 miles of trails that connect an impressive 1,200 acres of parks and greenways. Our trails also have a link to Raleigh’s 100+ miles of trails. With summer in full swing, there isn’t a better time for a serene stroll through Chapel Hill’s stream-side walkways, woodland paths, and floodplain passages. To download a map of the greenways and bicycle routes, visit Chapel Hill’s website. Bike rentals are also available in Chapel Hill. Visit the Bicycle Chain’s website for a rate on daily bike rentals.
