Enjoy a Cooking Class or Dinner at Peaceful River Farm
Peaceful River Farm imbues itself with something warm, comforting, and down to earth…literally. The owner, Lee, hopes to share her healthy strategies and cooking talents by teaching about sustainable, naturally-grown vegetables, fruits, herbs, and other ingredients. How else could we want the food we eat to be other than natural? With GMOs, fertilizers, pesticides, and gluten (if you’re allergic to it—otherwise, gluten is not a problem), Lee’s creative and healthy recipes are something you can bring home to the family and continue using. Larry, with thirty years of horticulture under his belt, is the foundation of sustainability. This means that our lifestyle, and the relationship between producing little nowadays and consuming much, is infinite. For just $50.00, Lee’s Healthy Cooking Class on her farm will teach you everything you need to know to start eating organically and also provides a fun way to learn something new.
On March 11th, join Lee and Paige Dixon in the kitchen from 10AM-1PM to learn some new vegan recipes and sample delicious dishes like Caesar salad, gravy, and mac-n-cheese. Learn how to find the right kind of natural food, cook with it, and maintain a plant-based diet. Plus, the food is delicious! It may be something you love so much, you’ll come back to stay at the Inn at Governor’s Club and take another class with Lee. Also, on selected Sunday’s, you can partake in a farm dinner. Visit the website for more information on the cooking class and dinners at Peaceful River Farm or check out Lee’s personal menu of recipes.
